Free vCard QR Code Generator

Turn your contact details into a QR code that saves straight into a phone's address book — name, company, job title, phone, email and website.

Generated in your browser. Nothing you type here is uploaded or stored.

Share your contact details in one scan

Fill in the fields above and the builder writes a standards-compliant vCard into the QR code. When someone scans it, their phone opens a pre-filled 'Add contact' screen — no typing, no transcription mistakes, no app to install.

Because the card is generated in your browser, your phone number and email are never uploaded to a server.

How to build a contact QR code

  1. 1Enter your name as you want it saved in someone's phone.
  2. 2Add your organisation and job title so the contact has context later.
  3. 3Include a phone number in international format (+country code) so it dials from anywhere.
  4. 4Add your email and website, then download the SVG for print or the PNG for screens.

Where to use it

  • Business cards

A code on the back that saves you instantly.

  • Email signatures

A small PNG colleagues can scan from their screen.

  • Conference badges

Swap details at a booth without a lead-capture app.

  • Shop and office doors

Let visitors save the right person to call.

  • Vehicles and tools

Trade vans and equipment tagged with service contacts.

  • Slide decks

A closing slide so the audience can reach you.

Tips for a scannable card

Print at 2.5 cm (1 inch) or larger and keep the quiet zone — the white margin — clear of other artwork, otherwise scanners struggle with the denser vCard pattern.

Use the SVG download for anything printed. It is vector artwork, so it stays crisp whether it lands on a business card or a pull-up banner.

Frequently asked questions

What is a vCard QR code?
It encodes a VCARD 3.0 record — the same format address books use. Scanning it offers to create a new contact with the details already filled in.
Which fields are included?
First and last name, organisation, job title, mobile phone, email and website. Fields you leave blank are simply omitted from the card.
Why does my code look dense?
A vCard carries far more characters than a URL. Keep entries short and print at a decent size, or share a single link to your contact page instead.
Can I update my details later?
The details are baked into the pattern, so changing them means generating a new code. If your role changes often, encode a short link to a contact page and edit that page instead.
